Situated within a short drive from the famous Vai Palm beach is the Vai Village complex. Carefully renovated by the 15th Century Toplou Monastery, this stone residence has kept all the charm of its past. Although located near the road, the property we offer is hidden from sight and is extremely quiet from early evening. The complex consists of:
Typ A: 3 studios type for 2-3 persons, bed/living room with 2-3 single beds or 1 double bed and 1 single, all with a fully equipped kitchen (microwave oven but not normal oven included), satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone and WC/shower.
Typ B: 3 apartments type for 2-4 persons with 1 double bed and 2 single beds or 4 single beds all with a fully equipped kitchen (microwave oven but not normal oven included), satellite TV, air conditioning in the bedroom, telephone and WC/shower.

Some of the apartments and studios even have a fireplace and they are all finely decorated in the real old traditional style and colourings, and open out onto a terrace with views of Cretan wilderness and the beautiful rock garden and tamarisk trees. Amongst the facilities of the complex are a communal kitchen and dining area in one of the buildings, shady pergolas, a wood oven and a vegetable garden where you are free to pick seasonal vegetables for daily use at any time!
Magnificent sand and pebble beaches can be found at very short distances at Itanos, Vai, Kouremenos and Chiona as well as small traditional fish tavernas at Chiona and Kouremenos. All other necessary shops, restaurants, cafes and nightlife facilities are to be found in Palekastro village approx. 7,5 km away or in the town of Sitia. Car hire is recommended.
