| Stone Harbour Villa is a private, four bedroom, four bath, beachfront property located ten minutes west of Ocho Rios, Jamaica on beautiful Old Fort Bay. This comfortable, artistic Caribbean home allows visitors to swim in the blue-green water of the sea, sun on sandy beach, snorkel reefs only meters from its private cove, or paddle out to watch a vivid sunset in sea kayaks. | ||

| Stone Harbour is also dedicated to those visitors who want more than a week of sun and sand, inviting guests to experience the ecosystems, history, economy, sports, and cuisine of the island. | ||

| The main house contains a master bedroom suite with king-sized bed and bath. Two other bedrooms face a sunroom, each with private bath and two extra-long single beds that can be joined to create additional king-sized beds. A fourth bedroom with a queen-sized bed and bath sits atop the pool house with its own patio and magnificent view of the Caribbean Sea and coastline. | ||

| The main building also houses the dining room, living room, sunroom, and additional sitting areas for conversation, reading, cards, or games, as well as the kitchen. Walls of windows allow light and sea breezes. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. A laundry room and caretaker’s unit are located outside the main building. | ||

| The pool house sports comfortable chairs, bath, and outdoor shower. A large pool and jacuzzi sits just next to the sea, perfect for daytime swimming and children splashing, for that last dip before a delicious Jamaican dinner by our excellent cook, or for an evening swim gazing at the stars. All rooms have private cable television and music capabilities. | ||

| A large collection of books, CDs, DVDs, videotapes, and games is on hand for both children and adults. Internet access is available, as well as international cell phones. | ||

| Directly in front of the villa is a private cove for swimming, sunning, or stepping onto a boat for touring. Lawns and tropical gardens of flowers and fruit trees surround the home. Our staff of full-time manager/butler, cook, housekeeper, and gardener is courteous, professional, filled with life and humor, and ready to answer all your questions about the island and culture. | ||

We invite smokers to step outside to smoke. Comfortable chairs and ashtrays are provided.
Other amenities include staff of four—full-time caretaker and butler, cook, housekeeper, and gardener - use of three or four bedrooms, laundry, library, games, DVDs, videos, pool, Jacuzzi, sea kayaks, boogie boards, and a selection of snorkeling gear (guests are encouraged to bring their own gear to ensure comfort and fit). Our cook will suggest menus, purchase food, and cook dinner if you choose to eat at the villa. Food and alcohol are purchased by the guests. Services specifically excluded from the rental price are costs for international telephone, nanny or baby-sitter, guide, chauffeur, automobile, lessons, massage, etc. Such services are paid directly to the person providing service. Internet services are available at the villa if guests choose to bring a personal laptop, but please be advised that service to date is by satellite (cable is expected within months, but is not yet available). At times service can be interrupted for a matter of hours and even, sometimes, days. In emergencies our staff will be happy to direct you to internet offices in Ocho Rios. It is customary to tip staff upon leaving the villa. |
